Trust & Transparency
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026. This page explains what information SimplyBridge collects when you visit this website, how that information is used, and what choices you have.
What information is collected
SimplyBridge collects only the information you voluntarily provide and the minimum technical data needed to keep the site working.
- Email address — only when you sign up for the newsletter via the form on the Blog page, or when you send a message via the contact form.
- Form contents — the message body you submit, used solely to reply to you.
- Server logs — basic IP address, browser type, and page visited, retained by our hosting provider (Netlify) for operational and security purposes only. Logs are not sold or shared.
How that information is used
Email addresses are used to send you the encouragement newsletter you signed up for, or to respond to your message. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email, or by replying "unsubscribe" and your address will be removed within seven days.
Form contents are read only by the site owner (SimplyBridge) and used solely for the purpose of responding to the inquiry.
Cookies
This site does not set any advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. The only cookies used are:
- A small functional cookie set by the newsletter form to prevent duplicate submissions.
- Any cookies set by your browser when you click an outbound link to Amazon or another external site. Those cookies are governed by that third party's privacy policy.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on this site are Amazon affiliate links. When you click one of those links and make a purchase, SimplyBridge may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps fund the free writing on this site and the bridge to readers who need it. Affiliate links are clearly marked as Amazon links — the destination is always amazon.com or amazon.co.uk.
Third-party services
This site relies on a small number of trusted third-party services to operate:
- Netlify — hosting and content delivery.
- FormSubmit — processes newsletter signups and contact form submissions and forwards them to the site owner's email.
- Google Fonts — serves typography files to your browser.
- Amazon — when you choose to click outbound product links.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing data it handles.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through the forms, please email us and we will remove it promptly.
Your choices
You may at any time:
- Request a copy of any information we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your email address or form submissions.
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter.
Send any such request to simplybriddgette@gmail.com and you will receive a reply within seven days.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised. Material changes will be summarized at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
